For grinding, burnishing, matting, cleaning, polishing, initial sanding, de-rusting and removal of paint from round rods, railings, pipe elbows, and pipes in a visual range of 8–250 mm in diameter.

For use with polishing machine, and adjustable angle grinders from 500 to 7500 rpm.

 

Carrier/sanding arm

• The design allows sanding in hard-to-reach areas such as mounted railings (4 cm spacing from wall).
• Small wrap angle for lower grinding temperatures and reduced material heating.
• Grinding of weld seams (butt welds) possible. The weld seam is quickly and accurately matched to the pipe diameter.
• Processing round materials from 8–250 mm (360°) possible.
• Very simple processing of pipes.
• Extremely handy and lightweight.

Guide pulleys

• The non-rotating side discs, approximately 1 mm dia., of the guide pulley ensure that it cannot leave damage (grinding marks), on the pipe. In very tight radii, the fixed discs serve as a contact surface for guiding the sanding belt around the radius.
• The watch guide grooves in the deflection pulley allow sanding in the tightest radii without wearing down the sanding belt. (If the unit is held correctly at 90° to the workpiece).
• Two different belt widths, 15 and 35 mm, can be used.
• Dust-protected ball bearings.

Drive roller

• High-quality, lightweight drive roller made of POM-C (polyoxymethylene), machined from one piece. For extremely smooth running.
• Slightly convex design. Optimum sanding belt centring.
• Extremely durable, heat-resistant rubber coating. Optimum force transmission to the sanding belt and adjustable angle grinders from 500 to 7500 rpm.
